So my little angel meets her first taste of winter weather. We wrapped her up so completely that barely her little nose poked thru on our trip to the high st. In a few years time she will be out there with her sledge but for the moment its her zayde who is pushing on the slippy slidey road. When I was her age in the dark old days we were snowed out as well in the east end. I have wonderful black and white snaps of my dad digging a path from our home to push the pram. was sorely reprimanded by my daughter when I suggested that she left the darling in her bugaboo on the balcony for fresh snowy air. They routinely do this in Scandinavia, where I have many friends and it apparently a good way to build immunity. I was asked how I would like to sit on the balcony - fair point I suppose. We are beginning to get smiles from the darling and little human grunts that sound a bit like language.
I have instructions for her Xmax/Chanukah present - some baby reading books in hebrew. My daughter speaks it fluently and wants the little one to be an accomplished linguist too. I guess I will start checking on;
